The Student Travel Grant Application Process is Now Closed.
Travel grants are only available for students who are not funded by a NOAA Cooperative Science Center. During the application process, students will be asked to provide a brief written statement describing your reason for attending the NOAA EPP/MSI Education and Science Forum and your interest in NOAA mission sciences.
In addition, students applying for travel awards must be a United States citizen and full-time student to be a recipient of this NOAA EPP/MSI forum travel award. Must meet one (1) of the three (3) acceptable forms of verification, if not, funding will be withheld. During the application process, students will be asked to provide proof of citizenship.
Acceptable forms of verification are:
1. Valid USA Passport
2. USA Birth Certificate
3. Naturalization Certificate
Expenses may include airfare, taxi or ride-share to and from airport, mileage for use of personal vehicle, lodging and registration. Travel grants are only available for students who are not funded by a NOAA Cooperative Science Center.
