Philip Bellamy received his B.S in Integrated Environmental Science and his M.S. in Environmental Science as a NOAA CCME Graduate Scholar at Bethune – Cookman University. Throughout the course of his college career Philip participated in coastal research projects while gaining experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). His research topic is "A GIS Tool for Determining the Potential Runoff Coefficient and Runoff Depth for the Indian River Lagoon, FL". As a NOAA CCME Graduate Scholar Philip completed a NERTO project entitled "Determining Trends in Water Quality Using High Resolution Land Use Data" under the supervision of his NERTO mentor Dr. Chris Kelble, Deputy Director of the Ocean Chemistry and Ecosystems Division of AOML. Philip Bellamy has accepted a position with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
