Samuel Mwenda is currently enrolled in the M.S. program within the Department of Integrated Environmental Science at Bethune-Cookman University. As a graduate assistant his research deals with water quality, habitat restoration, community investment, and ecological integrity. Samuel has utilized various tools such as GIS, RStudio, SPSS, and WIN-55 to comprehensively understand how planning and development affect the resilience of the environment as well as communities. He is advised by Dr. Hyun Jung Cho and supported by NOAA CCME.
