Caroline Rodriguez

Caroline is a M.S. candidate in the Marine Science program at California State University - Monterey Bay through Moss Landing Marine Laboratories. Prior to joining the NOAA CCME program, she received her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Earth/Ocean Science from Duke University in 2013. For her Masters thesis, she is investigating temperature tolerance in corals that have survived repeated bleaching events in the Galapagos Islands under the supervision of Dr. Cheryl Logan. In the future, she plans to use her education to work at the forefront of marine conservation and environmental justice for populations disproportionally harmed by climate change.
