Devin Comba

Devin Comba is studying at the Harte Research Insitute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi as a NOAA Center for Coastal and Marine Ecosystems Scholar. She is working on a Master of Science in Marine Biology under Dr. Jennifer Pollack in the HRI Coastal Conservation & Restoration lab. Devin earned her Bachelor's degree at at Louisiana State University where she completed an undergraduate honors thesis, exploring the effects of salinity on gene expression and predation of eastern oysters. Her passions lie in fisheries ecology, restoration and conservation, and biological oceanography. She has worked as an intern and a research assistant in several labs during her college career.
