Mallory Brooks is originally from Tampa, Florida. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Environmental Science from Stetson University in 2015, while also playing for Stetson’s softball team. Mallory currently serves as a graduate assistant at Bethune-Cookman University in NOAA’s Center for Coastal and Marine Ecosystems, pursuing a Master’s of Science in Integrated Environmental Science. Her Master’s thesis will focus on the roles of habitat restoration, living shorelines, and their roles in nutrient sequestration.
Mallory is a Fishery Ecosystem Plan (FEP) Coordinator for the Caribbean Fishery Management Council, NOAA NMFS Southeast Regional Office.
